TandemDock License and Terms
The short version: the free version is free to use, Pro is a one-time purchase for up to three of your Macs, and you can get a full refund within 14 days.
These terms are an agreement between you and PixelBlue LLC (“we”) for the TandemDock app for Mac. By installing or using TandemDock, you agree to them.
1. The free version
You may download TandemDock and use its free features on any number of Macs you own or control, for personal or work use, at no cost.
2. Trial
A new installation includes a 14-day trial of the Pro features. When it ends, TandemDock keeps working with the free features.
3. TandemDock Pro
- Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
- A Pro license is for one person. You may activate it on up to three Macs that you use. To move it to another Mac, deactivate it in TandemDock › Settings › Pro on the old one first, or email us if that Mac is no longer available.
- A license bought by a company may be assigned to one employee at a time.
- The license includes the updates we release for TandemDock. If we ever offer a new major version as a paid upgrade, we’ll say so in advance, and the version you bought keeps working.
4. Payment and refunds
Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record and handles payment, sales tax and VAT. If TandemDock Pro isn’t right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked: email info@pixelbluellc.com with your order number, or use the link in your receipt. A refunded license is deactivated.
5. What you may not do
You may not share or publish license keys, resell them, or try to get around the license check or trial. You may not copy, modify or redistribute the app except as the law allows. TandemDock and its name, icon and code belong to PixelBlue LLC.
6. Permissions and your Mac
TandemDock uses the macOS permissions you choose to give it, as described in the privacy policy. It moves windows out from under its Docks and reads your Dock settings; it doesn’t change your system Dock or other apps’ data.
7. No warranty
TandemDock is provided “as is.” We work to make it reliable, but we don’t promise that it will be error-free or work with every Mac, display setup or future version of macOS. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, PixelBlue LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of TandemDock. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for TandemDock Pro, or US $10 if you use the free version.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using TandemDock at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, your license may be deactivated.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these terms for new versions of TandemDock. We’ll post the new terms here and change the date at the top. Changes don’t take away a Pro license you’ve already bought.
